Edward’s Barka Granduncles and Grandaunts
A baptismal record survives for a sister of Catherine Barka - Eliza Barka, born 30th October 1841 and baptised in Tyholland church. There is an Anne Barka identified as a sponsor for Edward’s uncles Patrick and Peter Murphy in 1858 and 1867. Michael Barka is listed as sponsor for Margaret Murphy in 1859. Further research is required to confirm relationships and find out more about these family members.
